Yesterday you had another meeting with Yury Boiko. Both parties talk about the positive negotiating dynamics after each meeting. Can we expect that agreements will be reached soon?-
Answer by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee:
Yes, indeed, the negotiations we are holding with our Ukrainian colleagues are very progressive and positive. We still have a lot of unsettled issues that are complex by nature. It is absolutely clear that no final agreements will be reached in the nearest future. I think that first results can be expected no sooner than November.
On South Stream
“South Stream has achieved a significant progress in meeting such challenges as the Consolidated Feasibility Study development as well as engagement of new partners in constructing the offshore gas pipeline section. The entire project is progressing in full compliance with the schedule and we are confident that South Stream will be commissioned on time.”
