Ceremony held for launch of new gas supply and gas infrastructure expansion facilities to serve consumers in 25 Russian regions
“A task of utmost importance set for Gazprom by Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, is to ensure that access to natural gas is provided to as many Russian people as possible. We are well on the path to achieve this. In the period since the beginning of the year alone, we have built almost 400 inter-settlement and intra-settlement gas pipelines across the country. On average, this is ten new gas infrastructure expansion facilities per week”.

“Today, we have discussed major and global changes. There is no doubt that the newly established energy world order will be predetermined primarily by further global population growth. It means that new consumers will emerge. New consumers mean economic growth, which is associated with the growth of energy consumption. First and foremost, it is not merely the growth of energy consumption, but also the growth in the consumption of gas, the most reliable, eco-friendly and cost-effective primary resource”.
