  • Gazprom’s projects for preserving cultural heritage and developing St. Petersburg receive high praise from Russian Government

“Preserving the unique appearance of St. Petersburg while supporting its development as a modern and comfortable city is a vital and very important challenge. And Gazprom has been implementing projects for restoring and preserving cultural and historical legacy for many years now. The work we are doing with the Tsarskoe Selo and Peterhof Museums can be considered undoubtedly unique from a conservation point of view. Also notable is our most ambitious program, which has been underway since 2007, namely the reconstruction and urban improvement efforts in the historical center of St. Petersburg. As of today, the program has covered more than 70 streets, small parks, squares, embankments, and historical architectural ensembles.”

Alexey Miller: Gazprom to become one of major players in global helium market

“After the Amur GPP reaches its full capacity, Gazprom will become a major player in the international helium market. The Company will increase its helium production volumes by 13 times, which makes about a third of the current global demand. Importantly, Gazprom will reach this result in close interaction with Russian industrial enterprises. Cooperation with KAMAZ is a vivid example of this.”

Working meeting between Vladimir Putin and Alexey Miller

“We are nearly finished with the drafting and signing of five-year programs for gas supply and gas infrastructure expansion in 67 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. This is the scope of our work for the next five-year period. Within that period, the amount of funding for gas supply and gas infrastructure expansion programs on the part of Gazprom needs to be nearly tripled to RUB 526.1 billion. The linear pipelines that will be built in those five years will stretch for 24,400 kilometers in total. We will provide 3,632 localities with gas, and the gas penetration rate will reach 74.7 per cent.”

Alexey Miller holds conference call marking Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day

    “Dear colleagues,

I would like to wish you a happy professional holiday in connection with the upcoming Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day.

We all know very well that, no matter what is going on in our country and the world at large, people will always need gas, heat, and electricity.

Today, the global energy industry is facing severe challenges. Nevertheless, Gazprom remains reliable and very durable in its operations. We are fulfilling all of our obligations to consumers.”
