Gazprom and OMV sign Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation
“Today, we continue to work toward the strengthening of Russian-Austrian relationship in the gas sector in the long term. With the newly-signed Memorandum, we will consolidate our joint activities with OMV in the areas of ongoing and potential cooperation into a single coordination center and bring it to a brand-new level.”

World’s longest NGV rally powered by liquefied natural gas concludes in St. Petersburg
“The rally once again clearly showed the effectiveness of natural gas as a vehicle fuel. Especially when it comes to long freights, such as the ones on the emerging Europe – China international transit route. Together with our Chinese and Kazakh partners we plan to create a chain of LNG filling stations on this route. Only in its Russian part we intend to build a network of 14 such stations.”

Gazprom and OMV sign Basic Agreement on Asset Sale
“We are opening up new horizons for our 50-year strategic cooperation with OMV. Our reliable Austrian partner is joining another crucial project: the development of the Achimov formations in the Urengoyskoye field. We will sign the final document in 2019, and the development of Blocks 4A and 5A is planned until 2069. This means that we have another 50 years of fruitful work ahead of us.”
