The Gazprom Management Committee took note of the information about the progress of the major investment projects. This work is aimed at solving strategic tasks, such as to expand the gas supply and gas infrastructure network in Russian regions, to accurately fulfill the export obligations, and to supply the domestic economy sectors with the products of natural gas processing.
Gazprom is developing the production capacities of the Yamal gas production center. For instance, the construction of the gas pre-treatment unit and the booster compressor station is underway at the Kharasaveyskoye field.
The Company pays special attention to the projects in eastern Russia. This year, a new compressor station will be put into operation at the section of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline stretching from the Kovyktinskoye field (Irkutsk gas production center) to the Chayandinskoye field (Yakutia gas production center).
The construction of the field's third gas pre-treatment unit (GPTU-1) is nearing completion at the Kovyktinskoye field; the unit will be put into operation by the end of this year. Construction and installation works continue at the site of GPTU-45. Production wells and booster compressor stations are under construction at the Chayandinskoye field.
The loopings (pipeline segments that are laid parallel to the main pipeline string) continue to be built at the Power of Siberia gas pipeline from the Chayandinskoye field to Blagoveshchensk in the Amur Region.
Gazprom is currently implementing the primary stage of the “Eastern Gas Supply System” Gas Trunkline System project, i.e. the construction of the Belogorsk – Khabarovsk gas pipeline, which will connect the Power of Siberia and Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas pipelines. As many as 54.9 out of more than 800 kilometers of the linear part of the new gas pipeline were welded, laid and backfilled.
The fourth production train of the Amur Gas Processing Plant was launched in summer 2024. The plant's construction is 92.5 per cent complete.
The issue concerning the progress of the major investment projects will be submitted for review by the Gazprom Board of Directors.
The Management Committee also approved the 2025–2029 Comprehensive Program for the reconstruction and re-equipment of Gazprom's gas production facilities.
