A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Roman Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place today.
The participants of the meeting expressed appreciation for the progress of their cooperation. The parties discussed the relevant aspects and prospects of their interaction, including the matters pertaining to gas transmission and supplies.
Background
In January 2023, Gazprom and the Government of Kazakhstan signed the bilateral Roadmap for cooperation in the gas sector.
In June 2023, Gazprom and NC QazaqGaz signed the Contract for the transmission of Russian natural gas across the Republic of Kazakhstan for the consumers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
