Gazprom signs contract for commercial supplies of Russian gas to Georgia

Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Georgy Mamaladze, Commercial Director of Gazko+, signed a sales and purchase contract for Russian gas today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2016.
According to the contract, Gazprom will supply up to 100 million cubic meters of gas to Georgia's Gazko+ over the course of 2016. The contract is effective from July 1 through December 31, 2016, with potential for renewal.
Background
In 2015, Gazprom supplied 0.3 billion cubic meters of gas to Georgia's Dzheotransgaz.
Gazko+ is a Georgian energy company that procures gas and sells it on the domestic market.
