In honor of Great Victory

The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a ceremony dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The war veterans were the principal guests of the celebration. Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee addressed them with a welcoming speech.
He noted that “the Victory Day is the token of our national triumph, military glory and labor merit... We pay court to the feat of front-line soldiers and homefront workers. We must pass the historic truth about the Great Victory on to the future generations.”
The numerous guests of the celebration took a look at the Great Patriotic War military equipment displayed at the Gazprom premises and tried porridge cooked in the kitchen truck.
In addition, a military parade was held, during which the audience had a chance to watch the defile and parade of the troops of the Honor Guard Battalion under the 154th Separate Commander’s Regiment of the Moscow Commandant’s Office as well as performances by the orchestras of the Moscow Military District, the Honor Guard Company and the drummers of Suvorov Military Music College.
The celebration ended with celebratory fireworks and a concert featuring Fakel Festival winners as well as trainees of the Gazprom Educational Center.
