Regular Board of Directors meeting to take place October 27

A regular meeting of the Gazprom Board of Directors will take place on October 27, at 3:00pm Moscow time. The meeting agenda is scheduled to include the following items:

• On Gazprom’s readiness for the peak load period of late 2009 – early 2010 and the measures required to ensure uninterrupted gas supplies to Russian consumers over the winter period in the long-term perspective;
• On the policy of gas and petroleum derivatives pricing for Russian consumers amidst the financial crisis.
• On the commodity risks monitoring system.
• On the legal conditions study to advocate Gazprom’s interests in gas exports under the existing contracts and the proposals on their further improvement.
• On the progress in arranging the construction of Gazprom’s supported facilities stipulated by the actions for arranging and holding the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.
• On the fulfillment of the assignment by Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, No.VP-P2-4776 “On the progress in implementing the South Stream project”, dated August 11, 2009.
