Board of Directors considers Gazprom risk management system

The Board of Directors’ meeting has adjourned at the Gazprom Headquarters.

The Board of Directors took notice of the information relevant to the operation of Gazprom’s risk management system and tasked the Management Committee to elaborate a plan of actions aimed at developing the system amidst the ongoing global financial and economic crisis. Particular attention should be paid to such risks as a possible drop in gas prices under international contracts, decreasing domestic gas supplies, deteriorating credit markets, higher volatility of currency rates and the risk of borrowings plan disruption.
