List of nominees for Gazporm's Board of Directors updated

Gazprom’s Board of Directors has summed up the results of its 6 February 2006 meeting in absentia.
The Board resolved to include Sergey Yevgeniyevich Naryshkin, Minister of the Russian Federation and Chief of Staff of the Russian Federation Government in the list of Gazprom’s Board of Directors Nominees to be voted for at the Gazprom Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting. At the same time Sergey Gennadiyevich Novikov, Head of the Federal Service for Tariffs was excluded from the above list.
The proposal to introduce said changes was forwarded to the Board on 30 January 2006 by the Federal Property Management Agency holding an over 2 per cent stake in Gazprom.
Background
On 1 February 2006 Gazprom’s Board of Directors approved the lists of Nominees for Gazprom’s Board of Directors and Audit Commission to be re-elected at the Gazprom Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting.
