Christmas and New Year greetings

Dear colleagues,

On the threshold of New Year holidays we traditionally sum up the results of the departing year.

I would like to thank all the employees of our big Company. Each of you contributed to its successes. And Gazprom’s achievements are more than significant in 2014.

One of the most important results is the signed agreement on gas supplies to China via the eastern route. It is a historic event. Gazprom entered into a fundamentally new market with a huge potential. The Company has already initiated a global investment project. Power of Siberia’s first joint is welded, the Chayandinskoye field pre-development and the Amur Gas Processing Plant pre-construction are underway. As a result, the gasification of eastern regions got a big boost in Russia, new ways opened for the development of the domestic industry.

At the same time, together with our Chinese partners we study the maintenance of pipeline gas supplies along the alternative route – the western one. Our cooperation with China is actively developing and has a great future.

Gazprom keeps working on the diversification of gas supply routes to Europe. The decision was taken to construct a new gas pipeline capable of transmitting 63 billion cubic meters of gas annually to Turkey, including nearly 50 billion cubic meters intended for European consumers.

In 2014 Gazprom enhanced its presence in the markets of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Now, our wholly-owned subsidiaries supply gas to customers of these countries.

This year Gazprom continued to develop the unique Yamal gas production center. Recently, the second gas facility was commissioned at the largest field of the Yamal Peninsula – Bovanenkovskoye.

We have achieved a lot in oil and power generating sectors. This year – for the first time in history – the new type of oil (Arctic Oil) entered the global market. It was Gazprom who produced it, the only company producing hydrocarbons in the Russian Arctic shelf.

New power generating units were brought onstream at the Cherepovets SDPP and CHPP-16 in Moscow. Back in 2007, when Gazprom entered the power generating sector, we undertook obligations to commission power generating facilities, and over two-thirds of them are operational now.

Gazprom intensified the gasification of Russian regions in 2014. We built 143 gas pipelines stretching for 2,600 kilometers. As a result, gas came to nearly 400 locations countrywide.

We will all recall this year for the outstanding results of Russian athletes in Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. We are proud that power generating and sports facilities built by Gazprom became a naturally integrated part of that remarkable sports event.

Dear colleagues,

Once again, I would like to thank you for your hard work this year.

I wish the upcoming year 2015 will be a good one for Russia, for Gazprom and for all of you. I wish happiness, prosperity and strong health to you and your beloved ones!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
