RELEASE
Release
Under the relevant contracts concluded with Russian citizens, gas pipelines are laid up to the boundaries of land plots at no cost to the consumers.
The construction of gas networks is speeding up. For instance, a total of 99,100 contracts were fulfilled from January through May 2025, which is a 27 per cent increase versus the same period of last year. Three quarters of the construction works are under the responsibility of the gas distribution entities of the Gazprom Group.
Over 882,000 Russian families have already installed in-house gas supply equipment and connected their households to the gas grid.
Inter alia, a total of 112,100 families switched to gas in January-May 2025 (which is 17 per cent more than in January-May 2024).
Gazprom is actively raising public awareness about the possibilities of additional gas grid expansion in order to make the benefits of natural gas available to as many Russians as possible.
Additional gas grid expansion is covering an increasing number of houses in gardeners' non-commercial partnerships, medical facilities and educational entities.
By the beginning of June, the number of contracts signed with the residents of gardeners' non-commercial partnerships has exceeded 39,000, which is a 1.7-fold increase versus early 2025. Almost one-fifth of said contracts have already been fulfilled, which means that gas pipelines have reached the boundaries of the corresponding land plots.
More than 1,000 contracts have been signed with medical facilities and educational entities. Almost two-thirds of them (645 contracts) have already been fulfilled. Over 200 facilities and entities are already using gas.
The progress of additional gas infrastructure expansion in the year 2025 in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation was reviewed by the Gazprom Management Committee.
