The Gazprom Management Committee took note of the information about the progress of the Comprehensive action plan to develop the Company's processing complex.
Gazprom is actively developing the processing sector of its business. It is one of the Company's priorities to derive from hydrocarbon feedstock the products that are sought after in many industries. The Comprehensive action plan was approved in 2022. It includes activities aimed at further increasing the efficiency of the business processes across Gazprom's processing enterprises.
The plan is implemented with special attention being paid to the adoption of cutting-edge domestic software tools and solutions. It is of particular importance to use digital services for optimizing the scheduling of the production and product sales, as well as for enhancing process safety management at the facilities.
The program's activities include advance training for personnel. Gazprom Pererabotka and three anchor universities partnering with Gazprom – Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU), the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) and Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) – launched the “Chief Technologist's School” project designed to bring up qualified specialists.
Under the project, the best students (from those specializing in chemical engineering) of the above universities, in addition to their core educational course, gain extra knowledge in the partner universities and acquire practical skills at the production facilities of Gazprom Pererabotka. As a result, the universities produce specialists who possess an extended range of competencies within their chosen specialization. The program graduates can further become employees of Gazprom's facilities.
