It was noted that the works on bringing pipeline gas to localities are proceeding at a rapid pace. The activities planned in this regard for the first quarter of 2024 have been performed in full. As a result, households and boiler houses in dozens of localities within six federal districts of Russia – namely, the Central, Far Eastern, North Caucasus, Northwestern, Ural, and Volga Federal Districts – were provided with the possibility of gas grid connection.

To that end, construction & installation works have been completed at nine gas pipeline branches with gas distribution stations (GDSs), as well as 52 inter-settlement and 119 intra-settlement gas pipelines.

Gazprom pays great attention to the re-equipment of GDSs the capacities of which are fully utilized, which allows the Company to connect new consumers – households, boiler houses and enterprises – to the existing gas networks. In January-March 2024, such works were completed at seven GDSs. As a result, the aggregate capacity of said stations has grown by more than one-third.

In addition, design works for the construction, reconstruction or technical upgrade of eight gas pipeline branches and GDSs, as well as 125 inter-settlement and 81 intra-settlement gas pipelines have been completed by the end of the first quarter of 2024.

It is planned to bring gas to a total of some 700 localities throughout 2024.

The relevant units and subsidiaries of Gazprom were tasked to continue the work on the implementation of the programs for gas supply and gas infrastructure expansion in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the year 2024.
