Gazprom and SOCAR discuss relevant matters of cooperation

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), took place today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023.
The parties discussed the current issues of their cooperation, in particular, those pertaining to gas supplies, and reviewed the prospects for expanding their scientific & technical cooperation in gas transmission.
Background
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023 is being held at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 14 to 17. This year's main theme is ”Sovereign Development at the Basis of a Just World: Joining Forces for Future Generations.”
SOCAR is Azerbaijan's state-owned petroleum company engaged in oil, natural gas and gas condensate exploration, production, processing, transportation, and sales.
