Best specialists to be determined at Gazprom’s corporate Labor Festival

The opening ceremony for the second Labor (Professional Excellence) Festival of Gazprom took place today in the settlement of Pervomaisky, Tambov Region.

Taking part in the event were Elena Kasyan, Head of Department at Gazprom, Igor Shchegolev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District, and Maxim Egorov, Head of the Tambov Region.

As before, the main venue of the festival is the Production & Training Center of Gazprom Transgaz Moscow in the Tambov Region. Here, gas distribution station operators, corrosion protection specialists, fitters specializing in corrosion protection of underground pipelines, electric & gas welders, and cable maintenance & splicing workers will compete for the title of Best Specialist.

Other venues of the festival will host competitions among oil & gas production operators (at the Gubkinsky gas production site of Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area), drivers (at the sites of Gazprom Transgaz Ufa in Ufa), and teachers of production & training centers (at GAZPROM's Training Simulator Computer Center in Kaliningrad).

The festival will bring together more than 180 participants from 36 subsidiaries of the Company.
