Sergey Pankratov takes charge of Department 310

Sergey Pankratov is appointed Head of Department 310, which coordinates operation of Russian Unified Gas Supply System.

Sergey Pankratov was born in 1960 in Moscow. In 1982 he graduated from Gubkin Moscow Institute of the Petrochemical and Gas Industry, majoring in design and operation of oil and gas pipelines, gas storages and oil tank farms. He has a PhD in Economics.

Sergey Pankratov has been employed at Gazprom for 31 years.

In 1984–1990 – unit controller at the Central Dispatch Directorate of USSR UGSS under the USSR Gas Industry Ministry.

In 1990–1993 – chief technologist of the USSR UGSS comprehensive development sector at prospective development division of State Gas Concern Gazprom.

In 1993–1997 – chief technologist, head of the fuel and energy balance sector at the Prospective Development Directorate of RAO Gazprom.

In 1997–2003 – head of the logistics, marketing and IT division at Gazexport.

In 2004–2014 – Deputy Head of Department – Head of the Prospective Development Directorate at the Strategic Development Department, OAO Gazprom.

In 2014 – First Deputy Head of the Central Operations and Dispatch Department of Gazprom.

Since 2015 – First Deputy Head of Department 310 at Gazprom.

Boris Posyagin, former Head of Department 310 has left office due to retirement.

These qualities have earned him due respect of colleagues in Russia and abroad,” said Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.
