Release
Gazprom became the winner of the Energy Efficient Russia – 2012 National Award for Energy Efficiency in Transport Industry.
The Company was acknowledged for the project for public transport gasification in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. As part of the project, 99 buses were converted to NGV fuel.
According to estimates of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Government, it enables regional passenger carrier companies to save more than RUB 560 thousand monthly due to the price difference between gasoline and NGV fuel. Providing that all of the Nizhny Novgorod municipal buses are converted from gasoline to gas, the annual economy will come up to tens of millions of rubles.
