On working meeting between Alexey Miller and Fulvio Conti

Today, Gazprom’s Chairman of the Management Committee Alexey Miller and Enel’s CEO and General Director Fulvio Conti had a working meeting at the Gazprom Head Office.
The parties discussed their cooperation in the oil and gas businesses, in particular with regards to the further implementation of the joint projects in the gas and power sector in Italy, Russia as well as in third countries.
Background
Enel is the Italian largest utility with a leadership position in generation, distribution and sale of electricity and gas.
In Europe, Enel is the second largest utility in terms of installed capacity and the largest for the number of shareholders.
So far Enel is present in 21 countries on 4 continents, with 82 GW installed capacity, a network of 1.5 mln of distribution lines and 32,000 km of pipelines.
Since January 2003, Gazprom export has supplied gas to Enel on a spot basis. To date Gazprom export has supplied about 445mln cu m of gas.
