Meeting on Gazprom's project-related activities held

Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee convened at Gazprom’s Headquarters a meeting on Gazprom’s project-related activities.

The meeting was attended by top managers and specialists of Gazprom’s structural units, production subsidiaries as well as Gazprom Group’s research and design institutes.

The participants addressed the issues of improving the Gazprom infrastructure engineering process, optimizing the development timing and enhancing the quality of design & estimate documentation.

To reduce the engineering timing and construction costs the parties brought forward a proposal to prioritize introducing innovative technologies & standard technical solutions and optimizing interaction between all parties involved. The parties also pointed to the importance of preparing proposals aiming to improve the corporate technical & economic data base used as benchmark information and to update and optimize the legal basis for engineering activities with the account of the Technical Regulation Law.

Gazprom’s core businesses, project customers and Gazprom Group’s design institutes were tasked with further improving Gazprom’s design activities.

“Gazprom is the largest customer for design & survey works in Russia. Investment in production infrastructure engineering has increased 8.5fold, from RUR 1.3 bln to RUR 10.9 bln within the last five years only. We have gained extensive experience in this sector.

At the same time, there is a need to further improve organizational procedures aimed at optimizing expertise timings, agreeing on & approving design documents and raising its preparation quality”, – said Alexander Ananenkov.
