The results of Alexey Miller and Sergey Sobyanin’s working meeting

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Gazprom’s Management Committee Chairman, and Sergey Sobyanin, Governor of the Tyumen Region, was held today at Gazprom’s headquarters.

The participants considered the issue of gas supply to the southern Tyumen Region. The parties pointed out that in 2003 Gazprom and the Region’s Administration channeled over RR 210 million and RR 364 million, respectively, to develop the Regional gas supply system. The funds were used to construct 5 local gas pipelines with the total length of 127 km and to explore the area for hydrocarbons.

The parties also discussed Gazprom’s Draft Program on Developing the RF Regions’ Gas Supply Systems in 2004; restriction of gas volumes to be supplied to the southern Tyumen Region; the fiscal regime while making investments in the Region.

A. Miller and S. Sobyanin exchanged opinions on Zapsibgazprom’s (a Gazprom’s subsidiary) operation, whose production and financial performance has recently been improving.
