Meeting on Construction and upgrading of Gas Supply Facilities in Kaliningrad region held

Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee conducted today a meeting dedicated to the construction and upgrading of gas supply facilities in the Kaliningrad region. Attending the meeting were heads and experts of Gazprom’s core business units.

The meeting addressed the implementation of the Federal Targeted Program on the Kaliningrad region development, prescribing expansion of the existing capacities of the Minsk – Vilnius – Kaunas – Kaliningrad gas pipeline with the view of intensifying gas deliveries to the Kaliningrad region. The parties particularly pointed out that increasing annual gas supplies to the Kaliningrad region to the notch of 1.050 bcm was an economically substantiated approach.
