On the session of the Supervisory Board of EuRoPol Gaz

A session of the Supervisory Board of EuRoPol Gas was held in Warsaw on July 25, 2003 under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EuRoPol Gaz Alexander Ananenkov. The members of the Supervisory Board Stanislav Tsygankov, the Head of the Foreign Relations Department, and Alexander Medvedev, the General Director of Gazexport, also represented the Russian party. On invitation of the Supervisory Board, the PGNiG CEO Marek Kossowski attended the session. The session was devoted to the problem of the throughput capacity of the Polish section of the Yamal – Europe transit pipeline system with two compressor stations in operation.
In the result of the session a procedure was agreed upon for estimation of the actual throughput capacity of the pipeline. Decisions and recommendations of the Supervisory Board are in complete conformity with the policy of Gazprom and PGNiG.
The members of the Supervisory Board agreed to determine the date of the next session in the nearest time.
An ordinary annual general meeting of EuRoPol Gaz shareholders was closed on the same day. Stanislav Tsygankov, the Head of the Foreign Relations Department, participated in the meeting on behalf of Gazprom.
In the course of the meeting the shareholders declared their intention to increase the membership in the Supervisory Board by two persons, one from Gazprom and another from PGNiG, as stipulated by provisions of the Articles of Association. The shareholders also discussed further actions in accordance with the decisions made at the session of the Supervisory Board.
