On personnel appoitments

Today, Alexey Miller, the Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, introduced Mr. Eugene Leskin to the participants of the working meeting as a new General director of Sogaz.

Eugene Georgievich Leskin was born in 1951. In 1973, Mr. E Leskin graduated from the Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute. Postgraduate education: in 1993 he was awarded the Manager Certificate of the York University, Toronto, Canada.

1990–1995, a deputy of the XII Plenary Session of the Komi Republic Supreme Council.

1995–2002, a deputy of the Komi Republic State Council.

In 1991 to 1996 and in 1997 to 2001, General director of KomiArcticOil. 1996 to 1997, President of NK KomiTEK.

Last position – Deputy Head of the Komi Republic.

“Eugene Georgievich is entrusted to elaborate the Sogaz development strategy. Servicing the interests of Gazprom in the insurance sphere and creation of risk management united system will be the core element of the strategy. Implementation of the strategy will entail engineering the company’s structure. Significantly, the investment policy of Sogaz will be directed to profit maximization in parallel with minimization of investment risks”, declared Mr. Alexey Miller at the meeting.
