Meeting of the Regional Policy Commission of Gazprom

Regular meeting of the Regional Policy Commission of Gazprom was held yesterday in the central office of the company. Alexander Ryazanov, the Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee, headed the meeting.
The Commission reviewed main events in the social and political life of the regions of the Russian Federation in 2003 and the role of Gazprom’s affiliates in it. The Department of relationships with regional authorities of the Russian Federation was entrusted to elaborate a consolidated policy of Gazprom and its affiliates in each of the regions where the Company is carrying out its production and political activities, taking into account its financial, economic and social policy. The management of Mezhregiongaz informed the Commission on the main principles of gas volumes distribution in 2003 among the national agrochemical enterprises. Members of the Commission approved performance of Mezhregiongaz in this activity and made suggestions on its further improvement.
Next meeting of the Commission will be held in February 2003.
