Alexey Miller and Alexander Filipenko signed a Cooperation Agreement between Gazporm and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Government

A. Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee, Gazprom, and Alexander Filipenko, Governor, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (KMAO) signed a cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and KMAO Government for 2003. This was a second time such an agreement was signed.

According to the Agreement, Gazprom will assist KMAO Government in its relationship with Gazprom’s affiliated companies’ relations in terms of their obligations fulfillment regarding KMAO municipalities.

Gazprom will continue to sell oil products produced by the company in the region, taking into consideration KMAO Government’s proposals. In case the volumes of oil products increased in KMAO, Gazprom would consider a possibility of selling these products to KMAO registered entities.

KMAO Government would facilitate timely and full payments for natural gas supplies to the budget financed customers of the region. The Government would consider a possibility of providing tax incentives to Gazprom and its affiliated companies. KMAO Government will assist Gazprom and its affiliated companies in land plots’ rights registration, as well as in technical inventory program implementation in the region.

Both parties will continue joint construction of social infrastructure projects in KMAO.

In 2003, Gazprom and KMAO Government will continue to implement information assistance of jointly held educational, cultural and sports programs.
