A. Miller, Chairman, Gazprom Management Committee, said: “Alexander Iosifovich is a distinguished expert. Last year, Gazprom’s hydrocarbon reserves saw an increase of 536 million tons of oil equivalent. This is a record figure reached for the first time in ten years, moreover, incremental explored natural gas reserves for the year 2003 surpassed annual production volumes. Yamburggazdobycha is our affiliate, and its specialists facilitated half of these incremental reserves. We are going to move further in this direction, by increasing exploration financing, and putting A. Raikevich in charge of one of the most important divisions of the company”.
