Today Gazprom announced 2003 accounting reports audit tender for audit companies.
The tender will have two stages. The first stage to be held on February 27 to March 25, 2003, will be for short-listing the audit companies applied for tender participation. Short-listed companies will be invited to participate in the main tender competition. It will be held at Gazprom headquarters on April 18, 2003.
An audit company judged by the Tender Committee and scoring most will be announced winner.
The tender results will be reviewed by Gazprom Board of Directors, and the contract with the selected audit company will be signed after the selection results are approved by the annual shareholders meeting to be held on June 27, 2003.
The audit company tender schedule was adopted in accordance with the Federal Law on Audit Business, and the obligatory annual audit will be performed by the selected company.
