The first North European gas pipeline Project (NEG) implementation joint Gazprom and Ruhrgas workgroup meeting was held today at Gazprom headquarters.
Vladimir Rezunenko, Member of Gazprom Management Committee, Head, Department of Long-Term Development, Science and Ecology, Stanislav Tsygankov, Head, Department of Foreign Relations, Gazprom, and Sergei Chelpanov, Gazexport Deputy General Director, attended the meeting.
The parties discussed the Project implementation status and the future consortium structure in terms of the European natural gas development dynamics and peculiarities.
Ruhrgas representatives emphasized the exceptional importance of the NEG in the development of the European natural gas market, and confirmed their willingness to participate in the Project’s implementation on an equal foot basis.
