Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan has allocated over RUB 200,000 for the purchase of disposable tableware for the needs of a newly equipped infectious diseases hospital, which opened at the Alexandro-Mariinskaya State Budgetary Clinical Hospital of the Astrakhan Region. This kind of help makes it possible for the Alexandro-Mariinskaya Clinical Hospital to comply with the recommendations of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor), according to which inpatient healthcare facilities treating COVID-19 patients are to be supplied with disposable tableware, which, once used, can be disinfected and destroyed in the prescribed manner.
“These days, healthcare institutions must comply with special requirements in their work in order to ensure safety of both medical personnel and hospitalized patients. Thanks to the gas production company’s willingness to help, the patients of the infectious diseases hospital get their meals in disposable food containers. This provides additional protection from the spread of infection, and makes the work of the medical staff much easier,” said Irina Krasilnikova, Chief of the Epidemiological Department and epidemiologist of the Alexandro-Mariinskaya State Budgetary Clinical Hospital of the Astrakhan Region.
