Charity marathon Summer held in Nadym

On April 5, a charity fundraising marathon named Summer 2019 concluded in Nadym. The event was meant to help organize summer holidays for disadvantaged children. Supported by Gazprom Dobycha Nadym, the marathon brought together the enterprises, organizations and residents of the Nadymsky District.
The fundraising campaign began in March. Those who wished to take part in the campaign could leave money in special deposit boxes ahead of time, make a cash transfer to the settlement account of the Social Program Directorate, or put a donation in the Bowl of Kindness at the charity concert. The marathon kicked off in the settlements of the Nadymsky District and concluded with a concert at the Prometheus community center in Nadym.

Gazprom Dobycha Nadym supports the Summer marathon on an annual basis, provides venues for events in Nadym and Pangody, and stages concerts. In addition, the company makes significant contributions to the Bowl of Kindness. In 2019, more than RUB 2 million was donated by the enterprise and its employees.
Background
Gazprom Dobycha Nadym is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The company’s key activities are production and treatment of gas and gas condensate.
Gazprom Dobycha Nadym is the first gas production company in the north of Western Siberia. It was created to develop and operate the Medvezhye oil, gas and condensate field. It is now also involved in production at the Yubileynoye, Yamsoveyskoye, and Bovanenkovskoye fields. The company holds the license for the development of the Kharasaveyskoye gas and condensate field, where pre-development is in progress.
Area of activity: Nadymsky, Purovsky, and Yamalsky Districts of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area. Gazprom Dobycha Nadym is the key job provider in the town of Nadym and the Pangody settlement. The company’s team comprises over 10,000 employees.
Gazprom Dobycha Nadym has 13 operating gas facilities and 15 specialized branches. The annual gas production of the company is over 100 billion cubic meters.
The company has adopted an environmental management system in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
