That night, the 100-plus visitors who had made their choice for the Gas Transmission Museum were in for a two-hour tour covering the 10-room main exhibition and the adjacent territory where they could see original pieces of equipment used in gas transmission in the 1940s and 1950s, such as an out-of-service Cooper-Bessemer gas engine compressor, a CLARK motor-generator set, and a NK-12ST gas turbine engine.

This year, new event formats were added to Museum Night under a special program entitled “Time of Discoveries.” The Gas Transmission Museum founded by Gazprom Transgaz Moscow, itself a discovery for attendees, offered its own exhibition format that fitted well with the event’s innovative approach.
