News from projects and regions
Various performance groups of the Culture and Sports Center of Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol launched a series of field concerts dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
More than seventy performers are engaged in each of such gala concerts. Many of them are multiple laureates and prizewinners of various contests at local, regional, federal and international levels. The Rodnichok and Smiles vocal ensembles, the Zadumka and Nezabudka dancing groups, singers and amateur theater actors perform at different venues; they sing well-known songs of the war times, recite poetry and do some bright dancing shows.
“The offsite concerts are another treat of the gas industry workers to the Great Patriotic War veterans, home front workers and all the Stavropol Territory public as we approach the 70th anniversary of Victory. It is a great opportunity to once again commemorate and pay a tribute to those who perished at the fronts protecting their Homeland from fascism,” Alexey Zavgorodnev, Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol, says.
War veterans are the main guests at such concerts. The first ones to see performances of various groups from the Culture and Sports Center of Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol were residents of villages and settlements: Peredovoye, Ptichye, Tishchenskoye, Kamennobrodskaya and Rozhdestvenskaya in the Stavropol Territory.
According to Tatiana Komarova, Director of the Conventional Center in the Rozhdestvenskaya village, such concerts remind us of the price paid for the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In near future the performers will go to the Podluzhnoye and Moskovskoye settlements in the Stavropol Territory.
