Over 1,300 people take part in celebratory corporate bike ride of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk

On June 12 in 13 regions of Siberia and the Far East, across the Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk area of activity, the company’s employees participated in the fourth corporate bike ride within the Year of Environmental Awareness.
Gas workers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk were the first to start the ride.
The first bike ride took place in 2011, which was declared the Year of Health in the company. Back then, a 35-kilometer distance was covered by the employees of Tomsk branches and the Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk Administration. This year the route length was increased to 52 kilometers.
Starting the bike ride, Anatoly Titov, Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk congratulated its participants on the Russia Day, wished them a successful finish and marked that over 1,300 people were taking part in the event this year.
Apart from the Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk employees, the members of Gazprom’s Youth Coordinating Council from Moscow, Urengoy, Samara, St. Petersburg, Ukhta and other cities joined the bike ride in Tomsk.
