In January 2014 Gazprom Promgaz launched the Winter Miracle charity campaign.
As part of the campaign, the company’s employees arranged a fundraising event to support the Mtsensk orphanage (Orel Region) for orphaned preschool children.
Campaign organizers spent the raised money on the necessary equipment and winter tires for a school bus.
On January 31, 2014 the Gazprom Promgaz delegation led by Alexander Lavrentiev, Acting Deputy Director General for Design – Director of the Engineering Center visited the orphanage for the first time. During the visit the guests presented children with numerous toys and other gifts, took part in the musical performance prepared by the orphanage teachers and residents as well as got acquainted with the everyday life of the orphanage.
“Gazprom Promgaz is a socially-oriented company which pays special attention to charity, the development of business culture and support of the employees’ sporty lifestyle. That is why interacting with orphanages and rendering assistance to orphaned children is one of the company’s social objectives,” stressed Alexander Lavrentiev.

Gazprom Promgaz is Gazprom’s R&D and design institute focused on regional energy policy substantiation, gasification, gas distribution and utilization, field development for regional gasification, CBM resources development as well as carrying out design and survey operations.
Gazprom Promgaz is the parent company for developing general gasification schemes and supplying gas to Russian regions. It is also an industry expert center for price formation and pricing policy in designing and constructing Gazprom’s facilities, as well as a member of self-regulatory organizations focused on engineering investigations and design. The company owns all the required work permits, including those for especially hazardous and technically sophisticated facilities.

The quality management systems are introduced at the company, meeting the requirements of GOST ISO 9001–2011 and ISO 9001:2008, as well as the environmental management system complying with the requirements of GOST R ISO 14001–2007 and ISO 14001:2004.
Headquartered in Moscow, the company employs some 770 people.
