“Anapa survived 386 days of occupation and each of them was a serious challenge for its citizens. For its persistent struggle Anapa earned the title of the City of Military Glory of Russia. We will always remember the high price which our Motherland had to pay for the salvation of the mankind. It is symbolic that the Walk of Memory memorial is located near the construction site of Russkaya that will be the most powerful compressor station in the world,” noted Mikhail Levchenkov.
