Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk opens monument in Noyabrsk

Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk presented a sculptural group made of bronze to the citizens of Noyabrsk. The group is comprised of three figures: a representative of the indigenous minorities of the North reflecting the moral and ethical spirit of Yamal a geologist embodying the knowledge that once made it possible to see this territory in a new light and a gas worker as a symbol of social peace and wellbeing.

The new monument is situated in the square in front of the Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk headquarters. It is 3.41 meters high, its pedestal is made of granite and the sculptures, surrounding a pyramid of extra strong plastic highlighted from the inside, are pure bronze. By the way, it is the first bronze monument erected in Noyabrsk.
Taking part in the monument opening ceremony were Konstantin Stepovoy, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk and Zhanna Belotskaya, Head of the Noyabrsk Administration.
“Let this day go down in history forever as the day of unifying the traditions, science and diligence, the day imbued with the ideas of social cohesion for the sake of the present and the future of our beloved town and land,” said Konstantin Stepovoy.

Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The company produces gas from its own five licensed blocks in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area: Vyngapurovskoye, Komsomolskoye, Zapadno-Tarkosalinskoye, Vyngaiakhinskoye, Yety-Purovskoye. Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk renders services as an operator of hydrocarbon feedstock production and treatment services to the independent subsurface users in the Gubkinskoye, Muravlenkovskoye, Novogodneye, Tarasovskoye fields (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area), as well as in the Kshukskoye and Nizhne-Kvakchikskoye fields of Kamchatka.
