Kama region gas workers award prizes to gifted children

One-time money prizes established by Gazprom Transgaz Tchaikovsky were awarded to young citizens of the town of Tchaikovsky and the Tchaikovsky District, who achieved high results in studies, creative work and sports. It is the fourth year that the Kama region gas workers hold the charitable event which coincides with the start of the school year.

The awarding ceremony took place in the company’s Cultural and Sports Center. 39 young talents won prizes in three nominations: Triumph, Ovation and Olympus. Their teachers and coaches received money prizes as well. The parents were given letters of gratitude and flowers.

When congratulating the children on their well-deserved prizes, Viktor Chichelov, Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Tchaikovsky thanked them for their achievements and wished them to come back to their native town after graduating from higher education institutions to promote its development and prosperity.

Attending the event was also Alexander Poylov, Acting Head of the Tchaikovsky Municipal District. He highly appreciated the charitable action of the Kama region gas workers and expressed his hope for this tradition to last for many years to come.

After the ceremony the young talents had a bowling tournament and sweet treats.
