Trainee of Molodost sports center of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym becomes two-time World Boxing Champion among young women

Saida Gamidova – trainee of Alexey Vorobyev, coach of the Molodost sports center of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym – won a gold medal of the AIBA Women’s Junior/Youth World Boxing Championship, which took place in Bulgaria from September 20 to 29. This is the second World Champion title in the young athlete’s career.
Sergey Menshikov, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym was one of the first to congratulate Saida Gamidova on her victory, noting that she was the only two-time World Champion of her age.
“Your well-deserved victory is the honor we share,” stressed the company’s Head at the meeting.
“At the age of eighteen Saida Gamidova has received almost no defeat. A new victory is yet another proof of the athlete’s meticulous training,” said her coach Alexey Vorobyev.

According to Oleg Pryanikov, Chairman of the Boxing Federation of Nadym and Nadym District (local non-governmental organization), not only did the victory bring a gold medal to the Molodost sports center trainee, but also the title of the International Master of Sports of Russia in boxing.
“Gazprom Dobycha Nadym pays special attention to sport. That is why we closely follow the achievements of Nadym athletes. This time my hopes surpassed all the expectations. Another champion victory is a vivid indicator of the company’s social policy carried out in its area of activity,” said Sergey Menshikov.
