Here is 1.5 trillion cubic meters of gas!
News from projects and regions
On February 27 the Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk team crossed the crucial milestone of 1.5 trillion cubic meters of produced gas – this figure was recorded on the main board in the operations and dispatch service at 6:37p.m.
The company’s employees have been trying to reach this historic goal for almost three and a half decades. In 1978 the Vyngapurovskoye gas field facility was commissioned. 21 years later, in 1999, the Noyabrsk gasmen produced 500 billion cubic meters of gas; 7 years after that, in 2006, they crossed the boundary of 1 trillion cubic meters of gas. It is noteworthy that the point of 1.5 trillion cubic meters was reached in the year of the Gazprom’s 20th anniversary.
“1.5 billion cubic meters of gas is an achievement of the whole team, each and every employee. Special thanks should be given to the pioneer veterans. The courage of these people triggered the build-up of the company’s glorious history. New challenges and accomplishments lie ahead for the team,” said Sergey Maslakov, Deputy Director General for Production, Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk.
The production services heads reacted to reaching the long cherished goal, saying: “Here is one and a half trillion cubic meters of gas!”
