Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar; has been successfully certified as complying with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2004 international standard. TÜV Thüringen e.V. (Germany), an independent organization for certification conducted the audit.

The audit committee noted a positive effect the Environmental Management System made on the company’s achievements in the environmental protection area as well as the work done to ensure rational nature management and energy saving.
“The international certificate is another evidence of high environmental awareness of the company. I am sure we will further rely on up-to-date mechanisms of environmental management as well as apply innovative scientific developments to reduce the man-made impact on the environment,” highlighted Mikhail Geikhman, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar.

Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar is a wholly-owned company of Gazprom. It is headquartered in Krasnodar, while its branches are located in the Krasnodar Territory, the Rostov Region, the Republic of Adygea, the Stavropol Territory and the Republic of Kalmykia. The company develops 51 fields: 30 gas, 17 gas and condensate, 3 oil, gas and condensate fields and 1 oil field. The company employs more than 2,000 people.

TÜV Thüringen e.V. is an eminent international certification organization, a renowned expert in environmental risk management. The certification audit of Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar was performed based on an open tendering procedure.
