TyumenNIIgiprogaz took part in the Water Expo China 2012 exhibition (Beijing, PRC) on invitation of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China and Kun Peng Power (Bei Jing) Technology (PRC), bringing the Vodopad (Waterfall) water treatment technology to the Chinese market for the first time.
TyumenNIIgiprogaz specialists elaborated the Vodopad electrocoagulation water treatment technology, which is now being successfully implemented at oil and gas companies and in municipalities throughout Russia. Currently, there are more than 100 Vodopad stations in operation with the daily capacity of 5 to 8 thousand cubic meters.
Following the results of the TyumenNIIgiprogaz participation in the exhibition, presentations and talks, the cooperation agreement was signed with Kun Peng Power (Bei Jing) Technology (PRC) on promoting the company’s products and technologies in the Chinese market.
Background
Being founded in 1966, now TyumenNIIgiprogaz is a fully-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, its main activities including research and design operations for the companies of gas industry.
Water Expo China 2012 (full name: China international membrane and Water Treatment Technology & Equipment Exhibition) is one of the major water technology exhibitions in China, which takes place in Beijing annually starting from 1998. It is initiated by the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China.
Kun Peng Power (Bei Jing) Technology is the Chinese company focused on promoting new technologies in the PRC market. The President of the company is Gavin Cui.
