The Tyumen Regional Council of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers in cooperation with the Tyumen Region Innovation Committee summed up the results of the annual competition arranged to coincide with the Inventor and Rationalizer Day. The competition was held in the following categories: the Best Innovation Activity Enterprise, Company, the Best Technical Solution Applied, the Best Technical Solution among Young People. For the first time TyumenNIIgiprogaz became the winner in the Best Innovation Activity Enterprise, Company category.
TyumenNIIgiprogaz employees were awarded diplomas of the 2nd degree in the Best Technical Solution Applied category for the Constriction for Gas Flow Measurement technical solution (authors – Georgy Krylov and Nikolai Sozonov). Inga Bengard was awarded a diploma in the Best Technical Solution among Young People category for comprehensive technical solutions aimed at improving environmental safety in development of gas fields.

TyumenNIIgiprogaz is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Gazprom. Set up in 1966, the company performs research and design activities for companies of the gas sector.
The All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers was created in 1991 on the basis of the eponymous All-Soviet Union society founded in 1958.
