During the charitable event to mark the beginning of the school year and as part of the Gazprom transgaz Saratov – Kindness Area social project, Leonid Chernoshchyokov, the company's Director General and Member of the Saratov Oblast Duma gave two computers to Orphan Home No.2 where he is Chairman of the Guardian Council. The children at the Home, who were about to go to the first grade, were given a full supply of school stationary.
As an expression of their gratitude, the children gave a performance for the Guardian Council members.
As part of the project to enhance their material and technical basis, the sponsored orphan homes in the Alexandrov Gai, Tatishchevo, Stepnoye and Yekaterinovka Districts of the Saratov Oblast have also been provided with laptops and multimedia equipment this year.

Gazprom transgaz Saratov is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The main activities of the company include transporting natural gas via gas trunklines, supplying consumers with gas via gas distribution stations, developing and operating gas transmission systems, organizing a network of CNG filling stations.
