The following measures were taken to develop and improve Gazprom's Quality Management System:
- further efforts were made to expand the scope and boundaries of the QMS, as a result of which the following activities were added to the scope: design of facilities and expert review of projects; prospecting and appraisal, field development; supply and sales of natural gas; generation of heat and power; and sales of gas as a vehicle fuel;
- the Quality Assurance Council and the Quality Assurance Working Group of Gazprom were expanded;
- audits were performed in eight Departments of Gazprom within the boundaries of the Quality Management System, as well as in five subsidiaries;
- a Quality Management System distance learning program was organized for 81 employees of Gazprom's Administration;
- the second compliance audit to verify conformity of Gazprom's Quality Management System with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard was successfully completed;
- the second annual contest for Gazprom's Quality Assurance Prize involved 10 subsidiaries. The following winners were announced:
- awards in the Business Excellence category for companies with more than 6,000 employees went to Gazprom Transgaz Moscow (first place, also named the Laureate), Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk (second place), and Gazprom Transgaz Yekaterinburg (third place);
- first place in the Business Excellence category for companies with 1,000 to 6,000 employees went to Gazprom Transgaz Makhachkala (also named the Laureate);
- awards in the Business Excellence category for companies with less than 1,000 employees went to Gazprom Geologorazvedka (first place, also named the Laureate), Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (second place), and Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (third place);
- the Laureate title in the Energy of Growth category went to Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol.
