Gazprom’s Quality Management System passes certification under ISO 9001:2015 international standard

A certification audit for Gazprom’s Quality Management System concluded in St. Petersburg. The audit consisted of two stages: the documentation of the Quality Management System was analyzed, after which the Company’s structural units underwent a compliance review under the ISO 9001:2015 international standard.

Auditors of the Russian Register certification association visited seven structural units of the Company, assessing four major business processes, three maintenance processes, and two corporate ones. The experts sought to assess the degree of consistency between the activities of top executives and employees and the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 international standard with regard to managing Gazprom’s subsidiaries.

The audit was followed by a closing meeting, during which the auditors commended all structural units for their contributions to the attainment of the Company’s strategic goals, highlighted outstanding achievements in a number of areas, and offered recommendations for improvements.

The audit team recommended that the Russian Register certification association provide Gazprom with certificates of compliance of the Quality Management System with the ISO 9001:2015 international standard.
