  • Gazprom's Quality Management System (QMS) contributes to operational excellence and provides a solid basis for sustainable development initiatives.

    The QMS of Gazprom complies with the requirements of the GOST R ISO 9001–2015 national standard and is constantly evolving.

    The scope of Gazprom's QMS currently includes the management of subsidiaries that perform the following activities:

    • production, transportation, processing and storage of natural gas, gas condensate and oil; construction of new facilities for the gas supply system; expansion, renovation, re-equipment, major repairs and diagnostics of active facilities;
    • design and expert review of field development projects; well drilling, construction of new facilities, expansion, renovation and re-equipment of active facilities, and arrangement for the acceptance of constructed facilities according to established procedure;
    • prospecting and appraisal, geological exploration, and development of gas, gas condensate and oil fields, as well as oil, gas and condensate fields;
    • supply and sales of natural gas;
    • generation, transmission, distribution, and marketing of heat and electric power; water supply and disposal; metering of energy resources with the use of automated metering systems;
    • production of liquefied natural gas;
    • sales of compressed and liquefied natural gas as a vehicle fuel.

    To provide for a comprehensive approach to and coordination of the activities carried out by the structural units in terms of the QMS functioning and development, the Company has established the position of Gazprom's top executive for quality assurance and a standing Quality Assurance Council of Gazprom.

    The quality management unit of Gazprom, the functions of which are exercised by Gazprom Department (Natalia Chekalina), pursues the following objectives:

    • enhancement of the corporate QMS for products, works and services delivered and consumed by the Company;
    • coordination of efforts under the policy for QMS integration in the companies supplying products (works, services) on the basis of Gazprom's set of QMS standards.

    The Department arranges internal QMS audits, reviews the progress of quality assurance goals, and assesses key performance indicators of QMS processes.

    The top management of Gazprom takes the necessary measures to continuously improve the Company's performance and efficiency.
