The Gazprom for Children program is the Company’s largest social project

Fully aware that the younger generation has a central role to play in the country’s future, Gazprom pays special attention to children’s and youth development projects. One of the Company’s key social projects is the Gazprom for Children program aimed at creating a favorable environment for harmonious intellectual, cultural and physical development of children and youth, as well as attracting as many youngsters to sports and arts as possible.

Since 2007, the Program has reached 73 Russian regions. Over 1,900 modern sports facilities have been built across the country, including more than 200 sports and health centers. In many localities, it has become the first opportunity for children and teenagers to practice sports activities in comfortable conditions. Today, these sports facilities are used by over 130,000 people.
