Gazprom for children
Fully aware that the younger generation has a central role to play in the country’s future, Gazprom pays special attention to children’s and youth development projects. One of the Company’s key social projects is the Gazprom for Children program aimed at creating a favorable environment for harmonious intellectual, cultural and physical development of children and youth, as well as attracting as many youngsters to sports and arts as possible.

Since 2007, the Program has reached 73 Russian regions. From the project’s inception through 2015, 1,302 sports and cultural facilities have been built or renovated. The total funding allocated for the facilities, including those currently under construction, amounted to RUB 48.8 billion. The Company’s charitable contributions for promoting children’s sports and arts, purchasing sports equipment, and establishing sports clubs and classes exceeded RUB 1.1 billion over that period.
