Alexey Miller's column
“Gazprom's success is due to the efforts given by each and every employee of our Company. A close-knit and highly qualified team able to perform the tasks of any difficulty is our honor and the main strategic advantage in the tough competition for global leadership.
That is why we pay great attention to providing a decent level of social security for the Company's employees. The General Collective Agreement is the main document in this undertaking”.
“Very many people think that we could hold the CIS football championship, and I am also a strong supporter of this idea. If the time comes to set up a new championship, we will act and take well thought-out steps only in alignment with those people who support the goal of setting up a football championship among the CIS countries.”
“Today's event is the manifestation of another considerable contribution made by Gazprom to the development of Saint Petersburg power infrastructure. This work provides for state-of-the-art technologies adoption which allow improving power and heat generation along with mitigating environmental impacts. It should be mentioned that the new gas turbine unit has been constructed using the equipment of domestic mechanical engineers, including that manufactured at Saint Petersburg production facilities.
Gazprom has confirmed its status of the most reliable investor into the Russian power industry again: on commissioning the CCGT-450 gas turbine unit at the Pravoberezhnaya CHPP, we have already fulfilled half of the obligations on new capacities commissioning, which our Company assumed when engaging in the power industry.”
“The activities of Beltransgaz as part of Gazprom secure sustainable capacity use and create prerequisites for increasing Russian gas transit volumes via Belarus to Europe to 30 per cent.”
“The station was upgraded due to the fact that Beltransgaz had been integrated into Gazprom. At present, Beltransgaz has an opportunity to carry out the large-scale investment program aimed at advancement of the entire gas transmission system throughout the Republic, and to expand UGS and gas transmission capacities. Another 35 gas distribution stations are to be upgraded until the end of 2015. This work guarantees reliable gas supplies to industrial enterprises and Belarusian consumers for many years to come.”
“Today is a great and joyful day for us. Implementation of the largest investment project, South Stream, was launched in Europe. We would like to express the sincere gratitude to all of our colleagues, partners and friends for constructive and harmonious efforts in the atmosphere of a mutually beneficial partnership and a good neighborliness while attaining our common goal. This is our shared success and there is a lot of work ahead!”
“The South Stream project implementation in Bulgaria strengthens our bilateral relations and maintains energy stability throughout Europe. A 538-kilometer section of the gas pipeline will provide Bulgarian consumers with continuous and uninterrupted natural gas supplies over a long term”.
“The South Stream project makes a great contribution to ensuring the European energy security. It allows creating alternative and reliable routes of natural gas supply to our consumers. Let me congratulate everyone on the decision made today by the Board of Directors. It marks the start of the South Stream project realization”.
“Gazprom and BASF have confirmed their common aspiration to promote the strategic partnership in the international energy market. By increasing stakes in gas trading and storage companies we will continue our successful joint efforts on securing reliable gas supplies to Europe. The agreements reached in gas exploration and production projects expand the geographic reach of our mutual activities that started from production projects in Russia”.
“The final investment decision we adopted today is another important step to the South Stream project implementation, another stage of our work, aimed at securing natural gas supplies to Europe.
Speaking of Slovenia, we have to mention that building a 266 kilometer gas pipeline and two compressor stations in Slovenia will attract great investments, create workplaces and supply the country with additional infrastructure.”
